Background & Achievements

The organisation has been in existence since 2004.

During this period the academy has evolved into a high-performing, successful organisation with a dedicated volunteer base and excellent leadership. The organisation was able to attain PBO certification in 2022. They have been instrumental in the development of many underprivileged athletes. During the past 15 years they have also produced top achievers at Provincial, National and International level. Many of them have also represented South Africa at various international competitions such as the African Championships, Continental Cup, World Cup, Youth Olympics, World Youth and World Junior Championships. Some of these athletes still hold South African Schools (SASA) records as well as South African Athletics (ASA) and African (CAA) records.
